Zipper pouches!

Made some zippered pouches today for a birthday present! I've made them before, but not in this material! They turned out pretty cute, if I do say so! ;)

Tea Wreath!

A good friend of ours, turns 22 tomorrow! So for her Birthday I made her a few things! She loves warm beverages, so I made her a tea wreath! It was super simple to make and so much more fun that just handing her a box of teabags!

I cut the wreath form from a Red Barron pizza box, used clothespins to hold the tea in place and topped it off with some Toy Story ribbon!!

All Dressed Up...and no where to go!!

Tonight I was playing with my All Dressed Up set and came up with 2 cards! All Dressed Up is one of my favorite sets, by far!! Remember it is in the Spring Mini, which goes away in May!!!

Embossed Swallowtail

Tonight I was playing around with the Swallowtail stamp that is in the Spring mini, which ends this May 31st!! I did some embossing and some stamping, just creating different combinations! I really like the results, simple but effective!!

Chevron canvas!

I love chevrons, so when I saw canvas on sale a few weeks ago, at Michael's I decided I would attempt a DIY. I looked online for a tutorial, but couldn't find just one that I liked, so I used several as "guidelines". Here are the pics of my step by step project!

 First I measured out the canvas and made a grid, so I would know where to make my tape lines!

 Then I taped them off, this was the hardest part, trying to get the lines nice and clean!!

 Then I painted, let dry and repeated! This was the easy part!

Then I removed the tape. I have a few spots that needed to be touched up, with white paint, but for the most part it worked well!!

April Make & Take Card 3

Today I had my April Make & Take!!! We had a great time chatting and making cards!! Here is the 3rd thing we made, it's a tea bag holder, just in time for Mother's Day!!

April Make & Take Card 2

Today I had my April Make & Take!!! We had a great time chatting and making cards!! Here is the 2nd card we made, I love punch art!! 

 Card Stock used, Marina Mist, Basic Gray and Gumball Green, Tea for Two, Whisper White

Punches used, Small, Medium and Large Circles for the body and the trunk. As well as the Butterfly punch but in half for the ears.  7/8 scallop punch.

April Make & Take Card 1

Today I had my April Make & Take!!! We had a great time chatting and making cards!! Here is the first card we made!! Mixed Bunch is one of my favorite stamp sets!!

Mixed Bunch!

As a lot of you all know I got sick last weekend, and had to have my gallbladder removed suddenly, that is the reason for my lack of creativity over the past 2 weeks! I'm still recovering, slowly, it seems I traded one set of problems for another! Last night I decided I couldn't stand it any longer, I had to make something!! So, I broke out a Spring'ish looking set, and just started making cards!! I ended up with 6, that turned out pretty cute, if I do say so myself!! I hope to be back to posting regularly very soon!!
